DevotionTitle:
A Hope For Our Future
versequote:
If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men the most pitiable. 1 Corinthians 15:19
Reference:
Read 1 Corinthians Chapter 15:1-34
body:
Among the many divisions and warped interpretations of the fundamentals of the Christian faith, the Corinthians struggled with the idea of resurrection. Paul clearly articulates that Christ did indeed rise from the dead. Because of His resurrection, we have hope and confidence that we too will be with Him in the eternal. Imagine what our purpose would be if Christ had not risen from the dead. We would have no hope for our future and as Paul said, we would be most pitiable. We as believers not only have the benefits of the blessings of Christ in this life, but we have an eternal hope that keeps us moving forward in our faith. This is what separates us from the unbelieving world. A Future and A Hope Day by day we journey on this road called life With the promise of a future both blessed and bright We seek to serve our Savior, a living hope He is With His help we won't be captive by our faults or sins We will live above our troubles, our future is in His hands. Yesterday is a tutor; we can't live in the past Today His Spirit is with us, today He has good plans A future and a hope He has for all who will believe God's thoughts are good towards us, from Christ we do receive At the end of life's journey we will forever be With our blessed Savior, Jesus Christ of Calvary. TLR
Prayer:
Prayer: Thank You for the hope we have through the resurrection.
